Join us for the 50th anniversary of Dana Point Festival of Whales, March 6 and 7, 2021.
The Festival will proceed as a hybrid mix of in-person and virtual events. Whether COVID-19 restrictions persist or ease, the whales don’t mind and will, as always, grace our coast with their awe-inspiring presence during their annual migration.
Whale watching excursions have been, and are expected to continue, operating out of Dana Point with COVID-19 protocols in place to provide viewing in a safe and socially-distanced manner. Other Festival events will be tailored to adhere to health restrictions. Don’t miss the City’s Under the Sea Trolley with Wally the Whale on March 6th making stops at different locations in Dana Point Harbor to hand out sea life themed crafts for children.
We look forward to having you join us for our golden anniversary!
Also in case you missed it Dana Point has been designated the first Whale Heritage Site in North America by the United Kingdom-based World Cetacean Alliance. See the article in the Dana Point Times by clicking the button below.
