Ongoing child assessment is fundamental to effective teaching. Routine assessment of a child’s growing knowledge and skill sets informs our teaching practices and shows what is and is not working in the classroom. Assessment is important for all children, including those with a disability or specialized learning concerns. This short video (Head Start/ECLKC) describes how to implement ongoing assessment data when teaching children with disabilities. Learn how to modify your teaching methods and provide supplemental support.

Most courses consist of 15 sessions, which can be adapted for semesters, quarters, or other term lengths. Join the Alliance and take full advantage of these amazing resources!
