Interactions and Environments course is now available in Spanish! Interactions and Environments is an in-person course designed to increase participants’ knowledge about the importance of high-quality early childhood education and the specific types of environments and interactions that support the development of children’s social and emotional, cognitive, and early academic skills. Eye on DEI (Diversity, Equity, Inclusion) The EarlyEdU Alliance is determined to stop the perpetuation of inequality in early childhood education and to develop high-quality materials that honor and support the diversity of our early childhood educators, their students, and families. Join Cultivate Learning’s Eliana Medina, Assistant Director of Integrated Learning, and Maria Eugenia Alvarez, Biliterate Content Specialist, for a discussion of a new tool and the protocols we are using to help ensure EarlyEdU courses provide positive representations of diversity and create teaching and learning spaces that support belonging, equity, and inclusion.

Policy Connect Live

Join our next Policy Connect Live on Wednesday, January 25, 2023! We will talk about Universal Pre-k and mixed delivery approaches, including school and community-based programs, with Bruce Fuller PhD, University of California, Berkeley. Our focus will be on transitional kindergarten programs in California and share current policies, politics, research, data, and the role of higher education in Universal Pre-k and transitional kindergarten programming. We will also unveil and explore our newest early childhood policy resource that reflects this work: Early Childhood Policy Case Studies: California Transitional Kindergarten.
