Safari Adventure Camp with Sarah

Lions and Tigers and…… Preschoolers! Oh my! Come prepared to learn all about exotic animals and their habitats. Teacher Sarah and our preschoolers will practice jungle themed yoga, make our own safari equipment (Pith helmets, binoculars, cameras) out of arts and crafts materials and go on daily safari trips around our campus and in the wetlands to explore and learn about many species in the outdoor environment! This camp will spend a lot of time outside (weather permitting).

Remote Spanish Camp with Shara

Make language come to life with authentic conversations! Join Shara through Zoom as we engage in meaningful discussions based on students’ interests.  We will create silly stories & characters, watch funny videos, and play games - all in the Spanish language. We will also explore culture and current events in Spanish speaking countries!

Because we will be using comprehensible input, children will naturally acquire language through meaningful conversations. Children will be able to understand the essence of what is being said and presented to them because we will go slow, and communication will be clear. Your child will work on their listening, reading, and writing skills in Spanish.

This is a great crash course for all students. Little to no experience needed.

Tumtum Readiness Camp with Sarah

Designed for young campers new to Gardner, this camp helps our incoming Tumtumers feel comfortable with the transition of leaving parents and entering school for the first time. Aimed at easing into the routines and environment of their new classroom, campers will spend the majority of their days in the classroom and outdoor environment choosing from activities planned to help them familiarize with the school’s materials; painting masterpieces, digging in the sandbox, exploring a variety of materials, and using tools like scissors and writing utensils. While investigating at their own pace, campers build relationships with their new teacher and classmates.
