The Forum on “CVE - Remedy or Rhetoric” was organized at a time when CT and CVE interventions in the HoA region have largely been taken for granted as the main solutions to violent extremism in the region. The Forum problematized these assumptions and highlighted the complexity of the issue, actors and dynamics and as such, deserving a much more nuanced and evidence-based discourse. Continue reading
