A QUICK UPDATE
So encourage each other and give each other strength, just as you are doing now. 1 Thessalonians 5:11 (NCV)
Greetings in the name of the One who gives encouragement through you!!
We are grateful for the ongoing concerns and prayers and gifts that are coming our way through you. As you have ministered to us we are strengthened to continue in His service in Liberia. Here’s a quick update.
PASSPORT SAGA
After reporting our passports as lost, we applied for new ones. That process is going well and the 12 weeks or less seems to be in our favor. We should have them in our hand soon so we can re-plan our travels. We did find out that there had been considerable mail theft at a center in Memphis and that was the last place our old ones were seen. We still have a little digging to do to see if they are in nefarious hands.
Some of the health checkups we had anticipated after our return we were able to move up so we are busy with doctors through October. To make sure we can get everything in place, it looks like our soonest return will be the end of November or early December. We’ll let you know how it works out.
BUILDING PROGRESS
The roof is on! The ceiling is installed! (see pictures) The crew has done an excellent job. Now the finishing begins. Doors, paint, desks, electrical installation and window security are left to be completed when we are able to get the funds over to the team. There is still a great deal to do and your involvement has made it possible. We thank God for you!!
