Thank you to the members who contacted the office to let us know of more SCAMS circulating. Similar to PAST ADVISORY WARNINGS, the following three are referred to as "phishing" emails. Phishing is the attempt to acquire sensitive information such as usernames, passwords, and credit card details (and sometimes, indirectly, money), often for malicious reasons, by masquerading as a trustworthy entity in an electronic communication.

Great. I want you to know that i am okay with the total cost and as well as the availability schedule to work with all the ladies on both days. I am ready to make the payment as soon as possible, but before I can proceed with the payment, i will like you to do me a little favor and i will be so glad if you can do it for me. The favor is that I haven't paid the limousine driver that will bring the ladies for the treatment and he doesn't accept credit card. I want you to add $2860 to the total cost for the treatment and also add $100 for your tip and after u run my card through u will send the $2860 to the limousine driver via E Transfer to his account details that i will be providing once it clears into your account, so he can bring them and also take them back home. This is not a special occasion but i am doing this as a surprise and special treat for all the ladies during their visit to Canada. So kindly get back to me the grand total cost now so u can run my card.
Thanks
David Smith

EXPLICIT EMAIL ADVISORY 2
There is another explicit email circulating that has vulgar language and includes pictures of naked women. Photos are not appropriate to share in this case.
What should I do if I get these?
First, do not respond and do not visit the websites. It will only lead to the situation escalating.
We recommend that each member who receives anything like this report it to the Canadian Anti-Fraud Centre on-line by visiting the CAFC website (REPORT AN INCIDENT) or by calling 1-888-495-8501. The MTAM reports these incidents but the more individuals who report the better.
