PennPAC is accepting applications for volunteers interested in NYC projects this fall!
Ready to make a BIG difference? Submit a volunteer application by August 14th. Returning volunteers should submit the Application for Prior Applicants, while new volunteers should click the below button to access the New Volunteer Application.  A member of our Volunteer Relations Team will be in touch to discuss your application and project preferences. 

In September, PennPAC will kick off 6 consulting projects in NYC. Nonprofit clients include:
  • Harlem Junior Tennis & Education Program
  • HousingPlus
  • Institute for Music and Neurologic Function (Mini Project)
  • PennPAC - Website Redesign Project
  • Pro Bono Net
  • The Doula Project to Accompany & Comfort (Mini Project)

PennPAC is looking for an additional volunteer to help manage our social media. This is a long-term, volunteer opportunity and the time commitment is approximately 1-2 hours/week. 

The ideal candidate will have some experience creating original and engaging social media content, very basic graphic design skills, and most importantly, new ideas on how to grow our PennPAC following and showcase our work.

Welcome to Our New Board Members!


Arun, Ajay, Lydia, and Shraddha each bring a unique skill set and perspective to the board and will hit the ground running this fall! They join the other 11 members of the PennPAC Board of Directors and will work to further our mission, increase our visibility, and prepare for future growth. Let's introduce them!

Arun Iyer, C '98, C'00 has over a decade in the financial services industry and over 20 years as a national security professional. He is an active member of the Volunteer Relations Team (VRT), and has most recently, provided on-boarding training for our new volunteer leaders. Arun is "excited to be a part of further growing the impact and the reach of PennPAC's efforts and its amazing volunteer cadre."

Ajay Joshi, GEX '11 is a management consultant providing expertise to mid-market clients in technology, healthcare, and manufacturing verticals. Ajay has been a PennPAC volunteer since 2019, leading efforts to restart and grow PennPAC’s Philadelphia chapter, and has served in various roles including team leader and liaison.  He is now overseeing PennPAC's training efforts. Ajay highlights collaboration and says, "Together, WE have built a team of passionate volunteers and leaders who are eager to learn from and  meet the needs of our clients. As a board member, I am excited to see what WE can bring to the area of volunteer training and development this year."   

Lydia Kris, WG ‘97 is a seasoned marketer and manager with over 25 years of experience in business.  She first became involved with PennPAC in 2019 and has since acted as deputy team leader, team Leader, and liaison on various projects. She now serves as the Chair of the Development Committee. Lydia is "excited about the opportunity to play a part in steering PennPAC into its second decade, and hopes to help solidify PennPAC's fundraising strategy and plans to ensure that future goals can become a reality."

Shraddha Munver, WG '00 is a management consultant with nearly 20 years of experience in project management, marketing, and strategy development. She has volunteered as a team leader and liaison for numerous PennPAC clients and has been a member of the Development Committee. She shares, "After serving as a leader on five PennPAC projects, I have personally seen the appreciation for the value that we can provide to nonprofits. I’m excited to help PennPAC continue to grow and to define its second decade of service.

We are so excited to welcome these dedicated PennPACers to our Board of Directors!”

PennPAC brings together Penn alumni to provide pro bono consulting services to nonprofits. Our mission is to harness the intellectual talents and professional skills of alumni of the University of Pennsylvania in a meaningful and socially beneficial way. While PennPAC volunteers are alumni of the University of Pennsylvania, PennPAC, Inc. is a separately incorporated 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, not controlled in any way by the University of Pennsylvania.
