Welcome, Alums!

10th Anniversary LUCES Gala

We are excited to announce that registration for the LUCES 2019 Gala has officially opened! Our annual LUCES Gala will be on April 25 from 6-9PM in Regents Hall of Lewis Towers, which is on the downtown campus. The Gala is the last LUCES event of the academic year and is a proud celebration of the community.

Every year, we have a theme that is thoughtfully reflected throughout the event. This year’s theme is a surprise -- you have to register to find out the theme and the color significance of the event. Overall, the goal of the Gala is to celebrate the successes of the past year and to galvanize everyone to keep it up!

Also in attendance will be undergraduate students, graduate students, staff and faculty of color (and guests) who are a part of the LUCES community. The dress is semi-formal. Doors open at 5:30 PM. Dinner will be provided with diet preferences accommodated.

It would be an honor to have you all join us at our last big event of the academic year! We hope that you will be able to join us. Please RSVP via our form below to reserve your space and gift! The RSVP form, where you can tell us your dietary choices and sizes for the Gala gift, will close on March 26th.

Sincerely,

The Gala Committee

Tell Your Story

We want to increase alum presence in our spaces and memory. Whether you attended one event or multiple events, whether you were a LUCES Mentor or a Scholar, or a community member, your presence has impacted the LUCES space in the last ten years. You can do this by filling out this short survey. It should only take you about ten minutes to complete:

Fill out the form here: https://goo.gl/forms/c2jfVTfYZUqfxZbX2

With your testimony, we hope to build a “LUCES museum” and historical archive to maintain the legacy and memory of LUCES.
