ABSIA Forum 
The next ABSIA Conference will be held in Melbourne on the 7th of September 2016. ABSIA have some exciting speakers lined up and are expecting the focus topic of entrepreneurship to provide a real opportunity for smaller software developers and start-ups to build their networks and partnerships with those established in the industry. Details will be advertised soon and available via the ABSIA site.

To assist you in consuming the latest government webservices offerings such as Single Touch Payroll (STP) ABSIA’s next forum will feature an ebMS3 expo. ebMS3 solution providers and government technical staff will be on hand to help you decide on building, buying or partnering in the ebMS3 space.

Payroll Special Interest Group (SIG)***

Updates have been posted in the Single Touch Payroll Updates from the ATO forum.*** 
Requests posted in the API for Modern Awards forum* have been submitted to government.  
ATO’s presentations posted in the ABSIA forum SuperStream and STP updates from Business Engagement Forums.***

Foreign Tax / International 
The Common Reporting Standards (CRS) forum has been created for your questions and discussion around the Automatic Exchange of Information Guidance recently released by the ATO.

E-Invoicing
Please see updates at the E-Invoicing Interoperability Framework forum.

Government
Relationship Authorisation Manager (RAM) forum  has been created for your comments and discussion. 

Australian Taxation Office (ATO)
The Country by Country (CbC) Reporting forum is open for your conversation around the draft MST released by the ATO for feedback.
The Software Assurance forum has been created for discussion around the ATOs Software Assurance Project. ABSIA Members are requested to notify info@absia.asn.au of their interest to be included in consultation and detailed design following the open workshops.  
The ATO Websites forum is currently open for feedback and ideas on the terminology, structure and usability of the ATO sites. By proving feedback in the open forum discussions may enable a better overall understanding of where the sites could improve to help all users. 
Information on the ELS software specification release 2016.7 now available for download, a minor release with takeon corrections only, and; the SBR Technical Principles and Guidelines for B2G Digital Interations can be found at the 
Practitioner Lodgement Service (PLS) – ELS2SBR forum.

GNGB - Board Nominations 


ABSIA Members were invited to nominate Directors for the Gateway Network Governance Body (GNGB) Board. The scope of the GNGB is to oversee the SuperStream gateway network and its operations. For more information email info@absia.asn.au. Board positions will be announced in due course.
