Local Producers Need Your Help!

Our community is facing many difficulties as we respond to COVID-19 public health concerns. This past weekend, Tulsa's Mayor GT Bynum signed a directive limiting group sizes to 50 people or less. Because of this, the Tulsa Farmers' Market is forced to suspend operations until further notice.

Supporting local is more important now than ever! Although we are unable to host our market as we have for more than two decades, our vendors still have an abundance of fresh, nutritious foods needing to be consumed. And quite honestly, it is the safest and highest quality food available to Tulsans. Our producers have always adhered to strict safety guidelines, and the short supply chain of local food ensures it is minimally handled - simply put, this is the food you want.

Truthfully, our vendors are at risk of going out of business without an outlet like our farmers market. So many of our vendors already walk a razor-thin line to stay profitable in the best economic times. So if at all possible we ask that you support our local farmers and ranchers during this unpredictable and unprecedented time.

The Tulsa Farmers' Market will continue to foster relationships between farmers and consumers by helping them connect online. We are working to create an interactive online directory of local food options and will be updating how you can connect with each of our vendors on our website and our social media channels. Many of our vendors are offering delivery services, CSA memberships, online ordering/pre-ordering with arranged pick up times and locations. Others will have independent roadside stands and open farm days for direct sales. Please stay tuned as we roll out this info!

Community is everything in times like these. Although we cannot gather physically, we are all in this together. We are inspired and encouraged by how our community has rallied for small, local businesses! Please help us ensure this effort includes the smallest of businesses including our farmers, ranchers, artisans, and chefs.

The Tulsa Farmers' Market will be Back! We are following the situation very closely and you can bet that our market will return to business as usual just as soon we are able! Follow us on FB, Instagram, and Twitter or continue to check out our newsletters for updates!

Thank you, Tulsa! Please take care of yourselves and each other.

Peace, love & local,
