Dear IAF Artists and Art lovers
As our members are the core of our Forum, we were always convinced that they deserve a more specific place on our website. Because we want to be a platform for dialogue between our artist, we also have the ambition to extend this with a 'chatbox', where our members can share experiences regarding an exhibit, a technique they have experimented with or post art related questions to their colleagues.
A first step in order to achieve this was the creation of a new website with a modern 'backoffice'. Now that the website is launched and has over won the initial bugs, its time to take the next step.
Next is to give a separate webpage to all of our artists. This will of course be created in different phases, and we hope to count on your support.
First of all we would like to ask a few questions:
- Do you also want to have an own webpage for your art, linked to our website?
- Do you have a computer at home and do you have internet?
- Do you have digital pictures of your art work?
- Have you already attached these pictures to a mail, or uploaded these pictures to another internet platform?
- Can you prepare a biography and/or a short description of your work. Or don't you like to put personal details on the internet?
- (For members that are not artists) Would you be interested in publishing cultural news and background stories?
- There is technology that allows you to upload your content yourself to your page on our website. If we would provide you with this technology, do you think that you will need our help to use this?
If you have a moment, please send us your replies to these questions to our usual email address.
We thank you for your help in advance.
Kindest regards
The Forum team
