IN TOUCH WITH THE CEO

AUSTSWIM Teachers and WETS Aqua Instructors continue to ‘pay it forward’ as they contribute by mentoring and supporting others; just as they were assisted when they first started out in the big wide world of aquatics. In this edition we are proud to highlight some of AUSTSWIM's unsung heroes.

Reflecting recently on the growth and development of our aquatic industry, the changes are exceptional:
  • So many professional and trained personnel seeking and creating significant career pathways
  • The growth of swimming and water safety education programs continues to expand as more and more people recognise this vital area of education
  • Diversity is not just a buzz word, but is alive and flourishing as programs morph, develop and expand to offer community members from all walks of life the opportunity for participation, education, recreation, socialisation and wellness.

Our industry is never still, it responds, it changes and challenges ‘sameness’.  AUSTSWIM expands services and resources to continue the flow of education in the aquatic world.   If you’ve yet to check out our professional development services, take a minute to have a look.  Face to face, tailored service and online options are readily available through the AUSTSWIM website.

Till next time, thank you for your continued inspiration and commitment to working in the aquatic industry
