A Note from SLP Urban Planning

In an effort to adapt our community engagement and programming at Seaport Village during this COVID-19 timeframe, we have worked with the Port of San Diego and Protea Properties to ‘pivot’ and take things virtual. You may have noticed invitations each week to Seaport Streams, which features local musicians Thursdays at 6pm and entertainment for the kids on Fridays at 10:30am.
Over the past year, SLP Urban Planning has created a strategic activation framework to help enhance Seaport Village as a destination for residents and visitors alike. Through close collaborations with the New Children’s Museum, San Diego Museum of Contemporary Art, Bread & Salt, Birch Aquarium, San Diego Regional Economic Development Corporation, the Downtown San Diego Partnership, San Diego Unified School District and many more, we’ve complimented the wonderful collection of small businesses and shops with inclusive and thoughtful programming. We have also worked closely with the Protea Property Management team to develop and implement site enhancements, which have transformed the property with fresh paint, urban beaches, art installations and more.
Please join us for Seaport Streams and explore the Seaport (Virtual) Village!
