|Online Events to Attend from Home|
If you're looking for some art and culture to fill your time but don't feel like heading out, our Online Events will help quench that thirst. Opening this week includes TwentyTwenty Women, an exhibition inspired by the book 9th Street Women by Mary Gabriel, a chronicle of women who dared to enter the male-dominated world of 20th-century abstract painting as artists rather than as muses. Also opening this week is Complex States: Art In The Years Of Brexit and Fi Dem III: Ancestral Interference, a film screening by dancer and artist Zinzi Minott that celebrates the legacies of Black Caribbean life, sound, resistance and communion within its diaspora.
Image: Yesterday Was Tough But... by Celia Rakotondrainy, 2019, 108 x 105 cm, Oil on canvas. Part of the online event "TwentyTwenty Women", on view until 23 November.
