LA Art Pick of the Week: Robert Irwin at Kayne Griffin

In Unlights, Robert Irwin uses basic industrial materials to create sculptural wall works that play with viewers' perceptions and expectations. Each piece consists of six-foot fluorescent tubes mounted to rectangular fixtures that are vertically attached to the wall in sets of fifteen units, formal experiments that engage with the principles of geometric abstraction to form visual palindromes. Online Events of the Week

There are so many interesting art events happening around the world, and you’re invited to attend through your screen. These online events are perfect for injecting a little culture into your workweek.

The Sound & Vision Drawing Club is an interactive drawing workshop using music and art as a guide for creativity by Rise Art.

To mark the launch of new publication A Pixellated Crust of White Noise, Laura Yuile has invited two shop mannequins to participate in an in-conversation event on Instagram live.

Attend the online opening for Queering Spaces by the Socially Engaged Art Salon (Brighton), focussing on significant places and moments for the LGBTQ community in the UK and abroad.

Next week: Join visual artists Ghita Skali and Dina Mimi for their collaborative video performance In Nineteen Sicky Sick, a timely and humorous inquiry into the personal and (pseudo-)scientific treatments of diseases.

Have your own online event that you want the world to know about? Add your event here.
