Here we go again, another lockdown to add to this disastrous year. But this time, we're ready. ArtRabbit now lists all the best online art and cultural events in addition to real-life events. So even as physical art spaces close their doors, you won't have to go without. We should also note that online art has gotten so much better since the first lockdown. So do yourself a favour, stay in and see some art.
Our favourites this week include Aspex's commission for Heather & Ivan Morison to re-build their 2010 public artwork Luna Park in Virtual Reality and the Colour of Pomegranates part 2, an online exhibition with work involving the layering of film, visual and sculptural work, text, and storytelling into a contemporary narrative. Also on our list is st_age, an online platform for new commissions initiated by Thyssen-Bornemisza Art Contemporary (TBA21) as a response to the Covid-19 crisis and Bloomberg New Contemporaries 2020, the annual exhibition showcasing up and coming talent that's now viewable on their digital platform.
Have your own online art event that you'd like the world to see? You can add them to ArtRabbit here.
