SEARS LANE ENCAMPMENT UPDATE

Hi friend,

As you may have read in the news recently, the City of Burlington has decided to disperse residents of the Sears Lane encampment near Generator following the arrest of a felon who was in possession of firearms and methamphetamine. A flood of news stories that followed the arrest indicated that the man was also trafficking drugs from the encampment.

The City is requiring residents of the Sears Lane encampment to relocate by 5PM tomorrow, Tuesday, October 19th. We are monitoring activity, particularly in Generator's backyard area, and are in communication with the area neighbors, businesses, and city officials. If there are additional updates regarding the safety and security of the Generator community, we will be sure to communicate these updates to you.

If you have any questions or concerns about this news, reach out to me or a member of Generator's staff team.

Thanks for taking care of one another and for being part of the Generator community.

Be well,

Meg
