International Council of Museums (ICOM) over the last several years has been working to find a more up-to-date, more relevant, improved definition of “museum.”
Please help us by taking the ICOM-US Museum Definition survey so that we may report to ICOM the opinions, suggestions, ideas, and beliefs of our members as we search for the truest, the most accessible, and the clearest definition of who we are, what we stand for, and how we face an uncertain future with the conviction that museums will stand at the forefront of confronting the challenges of global sustainability and humankind’s melioration.
Share your opinions, input and more in our survey (closes Tuesday, April 28th, 11:59 p.m. Eastern Time). We look forward to your thoughts as we perform this necessary and important work in concert with you.
Thank you for your feedback!
