At iNERDE, we recognize that Africa's future hinges on those who acquire twenty-first-century skills e.g. creativity, problem-solving, technical, and communication skills. This requires preparing the next generation to engage with technology and related fields from an early age. Unfortunately, we’re falling short. That is why, after several months of hard work, we believe we have the right strategy to EMPOWER and IMPACT the future of millions of youths in Africa.
Going forward, iNERDE will address Africa's pressing need for effective STEM education through two platforms: curriculum development & dissemination AND professional development of teachers & educators in Africa. Our goal is to get One Million youths from all social and economical background and gender in Africa to participate in iNERDE's "Ntomo Innovation Academy" by the year 2030.
To achieve this, we have implemented three important strategic organizational changes:
- Enrolling more participants from various African nations in our programs.
- Providing an ever-expanding force of locally based trainers in order to significantly increase our presence in different parts of Africa.
- Generating sustainable revenues that will support our expansion objectives.
