Its been a great September for all the Cruisers. Rods 'n Rhodies was a blast, Yachats Blues, Les Schwab, Cruise the Coos, Fifties in the Fall, Chicken Run, Cruisin for Crab, and Myrtle Creek. Um... Now What?
Mapleton High School Homecoming
 The volunteers were meet up in town and Cruise to Mapleton. The run was attended by the Shelton Crew: Kim, Kathy and Jim with 2 Mustangs and a Yellow Hot Rod. Ken with his Thunderbird convertible, Richard with the Flaming Plymouth, Gary's Vega, and our group organizer, Don Stone with his Pontiac. We all got celebrity signs for the cars, and met the Royal Girls. With only a few minutes on the play clock, we loaded up all the pretty girls and rolled up to the field. We, in turn delivered the Princesses to the podium to be greeted with flowers, proud dads and cheering. After the ceremony, we returned to the stage to collect the ladies. Don had a bad thermostat, and overheated, along with a too hot Richard, justifying the flames. It all worked out when we got moving.

FIRST THURSDAY OF EVERY MONTH
Here is your Next Winter Project. A totally original and complete 1953 Chevrolet Bel Air. This car is unmolested, and ready for restoration or a drive in the country. Numbers matching 6 Cylinder engine and 3 speed transmission. Floorboards and trunk are solid, but some rust on rear quarter panel. New Battery, water pump, fuel pump, plugs, wires and points, new wheel and master cylinders. It starts right up and you can drive it home. It sounds good and runs smooth. Current Oregon tags.
