Pink Slips Meet • Bandon Run • Cars & Coffee

--- UPDATE ---
Rhody Cruisers will be holding a Cars & Coffee event at AutoZone in Florence on the SECOND and FOURTH Saturday of each month.
The first Cars & Coffee will be June 27th, from 10AM until 12:00 Noon.
That is this Saturday at Auto Zone. Everyone is welcome. AutoZone is excited to host this event for Classic Cars, Hot Rods, Foreign Cars, Cool Trucks and Motorcycles. AutoZone will NOT be providing Coffee and Donuts. Regional Management says no because of Covid-19 restrictions. I am talking with Lions Club about catering the event, but I don't know yet. I am sure that we will have Coffee and Donuts next time, July 11th. So... Bring your own coffee. ... See you there.

Anybody want a Cruise on July 4th?
Here are some Options...
Elkton Cruise.. 1 hr 6 min one way. Food; Arlene’s Cafe & General Store. Also to see are Fort Umpqua, city park, Butterfly Pavilion. Could park at High school, or Alfred S Tyson park.

Deadwood Cruise… 34 min one way. Can also add a cruise through Mapleton using Riverview Ave. Food; Deadwood Tavern & Grill

Toledo Cruise… 1 hr 19 min one way. Food; Main St Cafe 541-336-9150, Olalle Cafe, Twisted Snout Brewery& restaurant. Visit Yaquina Pacific Railroad Historical Society, the Toledo History Center. The town’s Main Street offers other galleries, antique stores and shops to explore.
... PS- I also have an alternative route to Toledo- beginning at Waldport using back roads only.. longer but less travelled and very scenic.

Every Wednesday PM Cruise: The event is happening every Wednesday, benefitting Florence Food Share. Bring canned or packaged food for donation.
The last cruise was heavily attended by many Cruisers, and several new people and their cool cars. We Roll Bay Street, Hwy 101, and visit the Food Share.
Meet up at the Port parking lot at 5:00 PM just to hang out and cruise. See You there.

Weekly Coffee Cruise:

Old Town Coffee is now open for inside seating. Members are getting together to have Thursday Coffee at 9:00 AM. A great time to find out what's happening.

In our recent Membership Update, I asked who uses Facebook... Well, a lot of you do, but don't belong to the "Oregon Coast Hot Rods Group". The group now has 324 members from all over the area and beyond. While it was not my intention, it has become a staple of communication within the Rhody Cruisers. We see last minute invites for a "Bay Street Roll", Classic Car pictures, Old Hot Rods and even great music links. Gear heads from all over Oregon post, comment on stuff, and help solve problems and recommend resources. Do you want to know what's up, tell a story or post a picture? Its easy to join, fun to post and comment. Be There or Be Square...
