Love in Homeopathy

What is love?

Love is the very soul of existence.  Love is the essence of human beings, and all beings.  Love is what we are.  Love is life.

A Holistic Approach to New Year's Resolutions

New year’s resolutions petered out?  Don’t be discouraged!  Many people don’t maintain their new resolutions beyond the 30-day mark.  Here are some innovative ways to get back on track...

Time to Break Free

Addiction comes in many forms such as food, social media, sugar, work, gambling, sex, caffeine, tobacco and nicotine products, alcohol abuse, and drug abuse - from recreational drugs to prescription medications to name a few.  With the new year comes new year’s resolutions to quit these, and homeopathy’s holisitic approach is a great way to get to the bottom of the problem and ease the process of recovery.  Depending on the severity of the addiction and needs of the person, it should be used in tandem with other therapies.

Addiction is characterized by the compulsion to do something despite the associated problems that arise from that, the propensity for relapse, and a loss of control to the activity. The individual’s freedom to engage with life becomes limited due to the incessant need or desire for something.  It affects the person on all levels: spiritually, psychologically, socially, and physically...

Healthy Eating for Happy Mitos

When was the last time you sat down happily and relaxed to eat your simple but delicious home-cooked meal?  Do you plan time in your schedule for cooking, eating and sharing your meals?

If you do, you are more likely to be healthy, stay in good health and maintain a healthy weight.  Because it is finally official: the healthiest diet plan is less about which of the different food groups you consume and more about how you buy, prepare and eat your food.

The saying "you are what you eat" can be revised into "you are HOW you eat".

Healthy eating can be summarized as follows: eat more slowly and with attention, buy fresh foods and cook your dishes from these fresh ingredients.  It makes common sense that this way of eating would be healthier and now the science is confirming it...

How to Work with Your Emotions

One of the ways we get stuck in  addictive cycles is by becoming attached to our emotional states, and using them to feed us in a way that reinforces our personal story or sense of self.  This can help us to stay stuck in a loop that is very hard to get out of, especially if we leave ourselves right in the middle of it.

Emotions are signals, but in and of themselves they are not particular or individual and don’t really mean anything.  They are pointers to deeper layers of susceptibility within our being, and we can work with the emotions to bring these deeper layers into awareness, helping the organism to become aware of that very loop, and to be able to let go of it.  When we focus on the emotions, we usually come to a place where we feel we either have to change them, avoid them, or hold onto them.  But what if we just sit with them and explore?

This Month's Useful Links and Favorite Blog Posts

Rajan Sankaran is a very well known and accomplished homeopath in India.  Click here to watch and listen to how he was brought up with homeopathy, how homeopathy works and how it is growing in popularity throughout the world.

Also of interest to the beginner homeopath is a 3-part series by American homeopath Joette Calabrese titled "What to Expect When Using Homeopathy".  Joette provides a very good overview of how homeopathy can be expected to work in acute and chronic cases, as well as emphasizing that homeopathy works with us, not 'on' us, the way that we're accustomed to with conventional medicine.

Lastly, for our local subscribers, here's link to a local natural health directory featuring all the best of the health and wellness scene here in Montreal.  Back to Eden is proving to be a great resource about local complementary and alternative health practitioners, as well as all things body/mind/spirit. Public Webinar Series

We're going public with the 3-part webinar series that we offered in conjunction with our 'Spring into Health with Homeopathy' event.

The webinars present how the latest scientific research shows exciting evidence of the subtle energy organization on the mitochondrial level and how this evidence is rocking our materialistic view of the body.  They also present how this new research points towards how homeopathy can provide us with the key to achieving a new level of well-being: one that stimulates our individual response to heal without the crutch and inherent side effects of drugs.
