Welcome to the December edition of the Front Street Newsletter!
Our 3rd Annual Christkindl Market was a success! We are so grateful to have such a supportive and creative community! We saw many memories being made and traditions continued! Speaking of traditions, we are thrilled to announce Mrs. Claus has Front Street on Santa's calendar for next year! Save the date for our 4th Annual Christkindl Market happening November 25, 2023! From our family to yours, thank you for helping us start this holiday season off with a lot of cheer and great art!
Today is First Friday and you know what that means!! Art, Food, Music, Shopping, starting at 5 PM here at Front Street! Come hop around our complex tonight and be sure to get here early!! We have ugly sweater parties, raffles, giveaways, live art demonstrations, live music, food from Backyard Smoke and Grill and WAYmore! If you don't get to see it all tonight, we are doing one more time in 2022 on December 18th 11am - 4pm.
While you're out tonight don't forget to vote for your favorite studio, gallery, or shop's holiday display!

DECEMBER FEATURE: Slow Down Cowboy is a carefully curated space, full of unique original artworks and vintage pieces. Envisioned not only as a shop but also a community gathering place, the space encourages visitors to literally slow down. Play a round of chess, chat with a stranger, find something at the limits of your self expression. It's a vibe only experienced in person.

3rd Annual "Artist Helping Nonprofits Benefit Show"
For the third year in a row, artists from across the world donate artwork to be sold to benefit a artist based non-profit organization, chosen by The Orphanage Gallery Director, William Cunningham.
This year's sales will benefit Dayton's very own The Contemporary Dayton. Click the link to learn more about The Co. and their mission. All artwork in the show is a flat $25 (many works valued over $150)!!

The ARTery, a Gallery at Front Street offers unique, one-of-a-kind gifts for any occasion created by 16 artists and
artisans. This month the gallery features the member show "Small Treasures" a collection of small affordable works.
This month the gallery highlights Artery member and photographer Robert Farley. Farley is a highly talented photographer who has a keen eye for taking artistically pleasing and technically proficient photographs. Farley is a skilled urban, nature, and travel photographer as well as a costume jewelry designer at the Gallery.
Visiting the Artery this month is artist is Selvin Bacon Velasquez, an unusual and intriguing long exposure portrait photographer whose exhibit is called “A Glimpse of Us”.
