I often reflect on my favorite Dr. King quote: “Life’s most persistent and urgent question is, what are you doing for others?” I am inspired by this and often think about how I can show up and serve my community. Whether it’s encouraging other young entrepreneurs to launch their own businesses, volunteering with my family, or continuing Me & the Bees’ mission to help save the bees; service is what social entrepreneurship is all about. It is not always the easiest way, but I remain passionate about how to ensure my business continues to do good. Service can come in so many ways. This year, I am sharing my time with schools and organizations, through workshops and education, to teach young people how their own business ideas can “bee the change” and serve their communities.
Head over to Facebook or Instagram to share with others how everyone can honor the life and service of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., both in person and virtually.
