ANNOUNCEMENTS
Ticket sale for Underground Iran, a music festival with Mohsen Namjoo and Kiosk, is now open. The concert will take place on November 15, 8:00 p.m. in the RISD Auditorium (doors open 7:00 p.m.). Registration for "Environment, Human Mobility, and the Ottoman State" is now open! This Middle East Studies luncheon seminar with Andrew Robarts will take place on November 5 from 12:00 to 1:00 p.m. Visit our website to reserve your seat and lunch. Please note that unclaimed seats and lunches will be given to those on standby upon start of the event. 
CALL FOR APPLICATIONS: WATSON POSTDOC FELLOWS
 
The Watson Institute is currently recruiting the second cohort of postdoctoral fellows to join the Watson Postdoctoral Fellows Program initiated last year. The Program invites early career scholars whose work contributes to one or more of the Watson Institute's three core research areas: security, development, and governance.
