October 30, 2014 Middle East Studies Luncheon Seminar. "The Two State Solution as a Degenerative Research Program."  Ian Lustick, guest lecturer. 12:00-2:00 p.m. Joukowsky Forum. Registration has reached limit and is now closed. An overflow room will be available. This event will be livestreamed.

CALL FOR APPLICATIONS: WATSON POSTDOC FELLOWS
 
The Watson Institute is currently recruiting the second cohort of postdoctoral fellows to join the Watson Postdoctoral Fellows Program initiated last year. The Program invites early career scholars whose work contributes to one or more of the Watson Institute's three core research areas: security, development, and governance. Applications are due November 15, 2014. Visit our website for more information.

STUDENT RESEARCH AWARDS
 
Brown Middle East Studies announces the second year of its Undergraduate Award Program for research in Middle East Studies. Applications for the Winter Cycle are due November 14. This year, we are also awarding graduate students conducting research in Middle East Studies.
