The statewide impact of the Truth, Racial Healing, and Transformation (TRHT) Campus Center at RU-N informs a resolution introduced by Senator Booker.

WBGO has committed to incubating a community storytelling space for Newark residents in partnership with Newarkers to fill critical information gaps. Three of the five residents selected are RU-N alumni.

The Rutgers Business School Center for Real Estate celebrated the success of its alumni and the students who are the newest scholarship recipients during an annual recognition virtual event.

RU-N Alumnus Victor McTeer RLAW ’72 and his wife Mercidees “Dee Dee” have funded two summer internships for Rutgers Law students to participate in the Center for Constitutional Rights in its new southern office in Jackson, Mississippi.
Crime victims across the state of New Jersey are now eligible for free legal assistance from the Rutgers Crime Victims Law Center, a division of the Rutgers Law Associates. The in-house non-profit law practice is housed at Rutgers Law School’s Newark and Camden locations.

Destress Fest is a campus wide initiative that takes place at the end of each semester. This series of events is designed to help students manage stress and connect with peers during the busy final exam period.  Destress Fest features a variety of programs and initiatives such as fitness classes on Instagram Live, virtual workshops, gameshows and so much more.
All events are free and open to all Rutgers-Newark students.

Sign up now to become a RU-N HLLC evaluator for the upcoming 2021 Cohort! Online interview sessions will start in January and continues throughout the spring semester. The support we received in the past from faculty, administrators, and staff was integral to the success of our admissions process.  Utilizing a holistic admissions rubric, the HLLC identifies exceptional first-year students and community college transfers from Newark, Greater Newark, and beyond. We need your help and cannot accomplish this goal without the support of the RU-N community.

The TRHT at RU-N is offering training for new facilitators for Racial Healing Circles. However, all individuals interested in becoming a practitioner must attend at least 1 virtual racial healing circle. After the training, they will practice and facilitate with a trained RHC practitioner at least 3 times.
