Masham's Community Cabaret
Saturday 5th May at 7.30pm
A showcase for the musical, acting and comedic talent which Mashamshire possesses in abundance. A dozen acts including favourites from Masham Players and Fearby Panto Society, the captivating voice of Jenny Bianco, the campanological capers of the Masham Handbell Ringers, music from pop to opera, a touch of comedy, and of course Miss Yvette Nightingale!

Tour de Yorkshire Day
Sunday 6th May
The Town Hall is at the centre of Masham's Tour de Yorkshire Day, with two exhibitions (see below), a craft fair and being the base for the Pop-Up Carnival

To celebrate the return of the Tour De Yorkshire The Making of Mashamshire has put together a display about the history of sports and leisure in Masham. At the same time we are pleased to be the first community to host the pop up exhibition of the Ripon Museum's Rural Policing Project. Many Masham people were involved in their research groups. Come along to find out more - and look at our historic Masham photographs in the foyer, kindly donated by David Everest in memory of his wife Pat.
 
Movies in Masham: Breathe (12a)
Tuesday 15th May at 7.30pm

Set in the 1960s, this is the inspiring love story of Robin and Diana Cavendish, an adventurous couple who refuse to give up in the face of a devastating disease.
Tickets £5 from Masham Community Office or on the door. Movies in Masham is supported by the Black Sheep Brewery.

 
Wild Willy Barrett's
French Connection
Friday 18th May at 7.30pm

The missing link between The Pogues and Edith Piaf, you won’t find another band like Wild Willy Barrett’s French Connection. Within a single song you'll go from a Parisian café via a Dublin hooley to a New Orleans party with rip-roaring fiddle, banjo and, er, cello, and over all that the warm and charismatic vocals of Jane Williams.An evening of unique musical entertainment overlaid with a large dose of dry humour!
