Global Think-In: Thoughts on a Changing World

Events in the past year have made it clear that the world is changing: in national politics and international relations, in social values and priorities, in views of the past and hopes for the future.  Whether Brexit, Trump, populism, refugees, terrorist attacks, global security, economic disruption, or climate change, ours is no longer the world order conceived in the aftermath of the Second World War.  The question is: what kind of a world do we have, and even more importantly, what kind of a world do we want?

The Committee on Global Thought in partnership with Columbia Global Centers will explore these questions at the next "Global Think-In", a day-long virtual conversation with regional and international experts, students, and the public. More details will follow.
