Matthew Stanislawski specializes in modern Jewish history and European intellectual history. He received his B.A., M.A., and Ph.D. from Harvard University. His most recent publications include Autobiographical Jews (2005), and A Murder in Lemberg: The Assassination of the Reform Rabbi Abraham Kohn. He also serves as director of the undergraduate program on human rights, and as the chair of the interdepartmental program of Yiddish studies.

Pierre Birnbaum est historien et professeur de sociologie politique à l'université Paris I Panthéon-Sorbonne et à l'Institut d'études politiques de Paris. Ses recherches portent sur le statut des identités dans les systèmes politiques modernes et sur l'histoire de l'antisémitisme, en particulier l'Affaire Dreyfus.
