NOOSA JAZZ PARTY
GAUDIONS GALORE BLUES EXPRESS
There’s only ten days left to reserve your spot at ‘Gaudions Galore’ Jazz Lunch as part of the Noosa Jazz Party on Friday 2nd September.
Trumpeter-vocalist Peter Gaudion is one of Australia’s leading players in the traditional-mainstream styles. Going back to his early days with Frank Traynor’s Jazz Preachers, then with the long-running band The Syncopators, and his own band the Blues Express, Peter has always been known for the fire and power of his trumpet playing, as well as his relaxed singing and irreverent sense of humour. Peter will be playing alongside his son Ash Gaudion, who is well respected in the jazz world himself, having been trumpeting with his father from a very early age.
Doors open at midday for a casual afternoon of good food and great music, with Head Chef Peter Ridland offering the choice of either a two course a la carte lunch for $70 per guest, or keep it casual and choose lounge style dining with charcuterie and seafood share boards for $55 per guest.
Don’t miss out. Call 5474 9999 to reserve a table.
MISS MONEYPENNY'S TAKE
ON THE CLASSIC AFFOGATO
Our take on the classic Affogato is nothing short of heaven on earth, and is the perfect way to end a delicious a la carte dinner.
We infuse milk and cream with freshly ground espresso beans and liquid espresso shots to make the base for the anglaise, before churning the mixture in the ice cream machine to create a silky smooth espresso ice cream.
Served up with a creamy shot of Baileys on the side, we take the classic Affogato to a whole new level!
Try it this weekend at Saturday Night Supper Club from 9pm and receive TWO for the price of ONE...
