Dear Friends, neighbors, SP community, and extended community,
Last night the South Portland Planning Board voted 6:1 to support the Clear Skies Ordinance, (the new law that would protect our community from tar sands), clearly aligning themselves with the health, safety, and wishes of South Portlanders, despite strong pressure from the oil industry. Once again, the vote was met with a joyful standing ovation from a very enthusiastic SP community.
But it’s not over yet!
Now we’re down to the final step to pass the ordinance.
THIS IS IT
Let’s all join together to witness this historic event!
