We need your help.
As you probably know, in December, the City Council passed (6-1) a moratorium on tar sands oil. They created a small committee of land-use experts to draft a new ordinance that will permanently protect the city from tar sands oil, and now the City Council is going to vote on the ordinance.
We need your presence at these final meetings, because the Washington, DC-based American Petroleum Institute has already been fighting this hard.
