Worldwide Ride of Silence On May 18th, join fellow Houstonians in a silent, slow-paced ride in honor of those who have been injured or killed while riding on public streets. Arrive at 6:30 pm, Mayor Turner speaks at 6:45 pm, and the ride departs at 7:00 pm. This is just one ride location of an international event raising needed awareness of the risks and hazards encountered by people on bikes not only in Houston but around the world.
