Soul of Christ, Sanctify me.
Body of Christ, save me
Blood of Christ, inebriate me.
Water from the side of Christ, wash me.
Passion of Christ, strengthen me.
O good Jesus, hear me.
Within your wounds, hide me.
Separated from You let me never be.
From the evil one protect me.
At the hour of my death, call me; and close to You bid me.
That with your saints and angels, I may be praising You forever and ever. Amen.
(St. Ignatius of Loyola)
Dear Friends,
On this beautiful solemnity of the Most Holy Body and Blood of Christ, we pause to give thanks for being a community of Word and Sacrament. We follow Jesus Christ in Sacred Scripture and the Sacraments through which His Presence comforts us and challenges us to bring Christ to a world so in need.
I received my First Holy Communion in 1967, and in the multitude of times I have shared in Holy Communion and the multitude of times I have been privileged to preside at Mass, I could cry at how much I love Jesus and how much He reminds me through Word and Sacrament how much He loves me.
Let this holy day remind you of how much you are loved! Let it challenge you to bring that Love to every situation in life!
Sincerely, with love,
Fr. Tim
Video Mass for Sunday, June 6th. Here is the recorded Mass for this upcoming Sunday (Solemnity of the Most Holy Body and Blood of Christ). We provide a worship aid to help you better enter into the prayer of the Mass. We are so grateful to DV Productions, our Liturgists Mary Robertson and Meggie Moyer, and our cantor Amy Sobczak for their efforts in making our prayer as beautiful as possible.
Recorded YouTube Masses Continue until June 20. For more than a year now, we have been sharing Masses on YouTube to minister to our four parish family during the pandemic. As we move forward with hope for a resolution to this pandemic, we have made the decision to end our YouTube Masses in June. We instead invite you to come to the in person Masses, which so wonderfully express our relationship to Jesus and to each other. Our last YouTube Mass will be June 20. We are so grateful for the ongoing support and engagement that people have shown over the past year. If you are unable to join us in person you can find links to other online Masses on our website at
In Person Mass Changes. The City of Milwaukee’s mask mandate expired on June 1. In keeping with CDC guidance, masks will be optional at Masses if you are fully vaccinated. Those who are not fully vaccinated should continue to wear a mask. We will keep the ropes up and continue to socially distance at this time. Anyone who is uncomfortable removing their mask is still welcome to wear it. Other changes include lectors will return to reading at the ambo, the collection baskets will be passed during offertory, and the gifts will be brought forward from the back of church. If you are not already an usher, please consider volunteering to help make these changes possible. Thank you for your patience and understanding as we safely move forward in hope for an end of the pandemic. You can find the most recent Mass guidelines on the Reopening page of the parish website.
