Across Australia we see examples of young people thriving in learning environments that nurture their creativity and wellbeing. This engagement and re-engagement in learning is happening in diverse ways and with clear outcomes. However, it is challenging to measure and share these outcomes more broadly. We aim to address this challenge through the Building Futures Collaborative Project. Please read further below or visit our website for more details.

New Learning Choices Case Studies

These Case Studies explore the real work of keeping young people connected to learning. Warriappendi School in SA re-engages students who have experienced difficulties in mainstream schooling, in an environment that fosters students’ sense of identity, belonging and achievement. Likewise, the Brotherhood of St Laurence works effectively with young people of Frankston, Victoria through a flexible supportive approach.
