SUAnime General Meeting

Anime: Naruto Shippuden
The current executive team is old and will die (graduate) soon, are you someone who can carry on the will of SUAnime and inspire a new generation of weebs? If so, consider becoming our First Year Representative, who will:
  • Be a link between the executive team and new members
  • Help out executives at events
  • Report feedback from new members
First Year Representatives must be NEW MEMBERS, meaning you don't necessarily have to be a first year.
(*•̀ᴗ•́*)و ̑̑
Because we live in a democracy, our constitution must be changed to include the new executive position. If for some reason you are against the idea of a First Year Representative, you can vote against the change at the General Meeting. If the new position is approved by our members, there will be another vote for who will be the new First Year Representative.

The General Meeting will be held at
Location: Holme Common Room (Near the footbridge across Parramatta Road)
Date: Friday, 17th of May
Time: 4pm - 6pm

If you are interested in joining the SUAnime executive team, please fill out the form below.

Manga Recommendation

Want to procrastinate but ran out of manga to read? Here's a recommendation from Vicky and Cameron, our events director and sponsorship director:
14 sai no koi

Ahhh.. a highschool romance without all the drama you'd typically expect. 14 sai no koi, or Love at 14, follows two students who are looked up to by their classmates as mature role models. However, they're secretly in a stable relationship in which they can be themselves and act like normal 14 year olds. What I like about this is that while there is not much of a plot, it's made up of snapshots of their relationship, which is super fluffy and just cute. Really, I'm just here to read something nice and endearing. There are also other couples that pop up over time, offering a range of different dynamics... some of you may not be comfortable with these relationships, but it's not a very serious manga. This is a great manga to take a break with, but be warned, it updates extremely slowly. There is also a sequel called Game Over, worth reading after you're finished if you want a little more.

Exec Intro

Look for the guy with this hair

Dat is one of our art directors, and hosts Drawmeet with Yiqi on Wednesdays 1-2 pm at Molecular Bioscience Building Lecture Room 471. Go check out his event to learn how to draw nice art :blobsweat:

Hi, I'm Dat, I've been on an endless quest to spread the influece of the Aikatsu!™ series across USYD by drawing Aikatsu!™ content, but however I still struggle on this quest since no one here have even heard of the name of the great Aikatsu!™ series. If you're interested in enlightening your mind or explore further the subtle sociological themes and the masterfully-executed yet intentionally-mistransmitted messages of the 332 episodes on cute girls dancing, singing and having fun or if you are wondering about how Aikatsu!™ is eternally poignant, forever relevant, steeped in an understanding of the world and exuding it unto others like a blessing from heaven, made from important thinkers, visionaries, you should watch Aikatsu!™.

I'll see you again next week, <<First Name>>
