Dear Jewels Connection,
Are you interested in virtually learning how to create a mobile app on your android or IOS and spending time with your family? Well, you've come to the right place!
That's right, you and your family will have the opportunity to create a mobile app for your IOS or Android device with our Computer Science Instructor! In these two Saturday sessions (10/9 & 10/16), you will experience a hands-on overview of how to create a basic app that will help you on your way to creation! You and your family will brainstorm an idea to solve a problem and use mobile app technology to address it.
The 2021 Family Mobile App Making will be held virtually, on zoom, from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. CST this Saturday, October 9th, or next Saturday, October 16th. Virtual seats are limited, so make sure to sign up now! Once registered, you will receive a zoom link for your selected day and time.
Thank you to our generous sponsors and donors! You have created an opportunity for youth and their families to spend time with each other while creating a mobile app for their mobile devices.
Get excited to build your own mobile app and spending the day with your family!
This past September 27th, Jewels Academy launched the beginning of its 10-week Emerald Innovation Program. Students have been learning how to create a mobile app and the best practices in design and innovation thinking they can take beyond schooling.
There is an attentive group of high schoolers in the Emerald Innovation Program with great business ideas! They will create a functional mobile app throughout the rest of the course and learn the most effective ways to conduct a start-up! They desire higher education and are seeking to see if entrepreneurship is for them.
A big thanks to our sponsors and donors for funding the Emerald Innovation Program. With their help, Jewels Academy can offer this program this fall free for all its students!
