Iowa State's Women in Science And Engineering WiSE Leadership Conference - Jan 2016
A few of our high school students joined Kim Wayne, Executive Director to attend this leadership conference and gain exposure to what to consider as a woman studying STEM fields.
They received insight on recognizing false thinking and being aware of when this type of thinking occurs.  Also, they created their personal "board of directors" through written notes.  Building their support system is essential!  Thanks WiSE for a great conference!
