Here we are, Ash Wednesday already. I spoke recently to Rick Boyle. He shared with me a recent homily take away. Instead of focusing on what we need to give up this Lent, we could be reviewing our year with COVID and the many hidden blessings during this time. Yes! As I reflect, I will tell you that I am so very grateful for the frequent contact with each of you. While it is virtual, through these 11:00 AM meetings, the OCS has had the heightened opportunity to walk beside you. And yet, we know that we have not walked IN your shoes. Each of you has survived and thrived this past year, and I believe it is due, in part, to your willingness to partner with one another and with us. We have learned so much from your questions and from your willingness to truly share with one another to find the answers together. May you have a wonderful Fat Tuesday, and a truly grateful Ash Wednesday as we begin Lent together.
Please know that each of you remain in our prayers of love and gratitude.
