• Cutting Wisconsin carbon footprint would save money and lives, study finds
  The report demonstrates the opportunities to cost-effectively address carbon emissions from challenging sectors such as transportation, buildings and industry, said Greg Nement, a professor of public policy at UW-Madison.
• Post-Landfill Action Network (PLAN) releases top 10 zero waste campuses in 2022
  PLAN says that their framework and assessment system focuses on systemic change and seeks to avoid greenwashing. 
• Marine Protected Area creates spillover benefits for tuna fishing in Hawaii
  The idea is that protected waters give the species a chance to flourish, causing an increase in overall population that can spill over beyond the MPA and increase fishermen’s catch rates and profits.
• Kids to ride in electric school buses in 15 Wisconsin school districts
  Federal funding will help school districts purchase 65 electric school buses in an effort to accelerate the transition to clean energy.
