Recyclemania: Use less, recycle more

Recyclemania, an eight-week recycling competition that runs Feb.2 - Mar. 29, pits colleges against each other in a friendly competition to reduce waste and encourage environmental awareness and mindful consumption. Help UW–Madison's efforts by composting food waste and recycling your paper, cardboard, glass, plastic and aluminum on campus!

"This capstone allows students to do scientific research from start to finish in the community," said Dadit Hidayat, a doctoral student in Environment and Resources.
Slow Food USA founder, restauranteur to speak on campus this spring
Alice Waters has been cited as one of the most influential figures in food in the past 50 years and is currently one of the most visible supporters of the organic food movement. She will speak on campus March 27 as part of the Distinguished Lecture Series.

Winter Bike To Work Day

UW System Solid Waste Research Grant Program
