What's New at UW?

ASM removes Green Fund allocation
The Associated Students of Madison removed the Green Fund, money designed for sustainability projects, from their 2016-17 budget, saying that relevant projects could be funded by other means.
Simulating the future of a watershed
A Ph.D. student in the Environment and Resources program is using computers and mathematics to simulate the ecological future of the Madison area.
Students tackle sustainability
Through a hands-on science program at the Wisconsin Institute for Discovery, Madison public school students learned how to bash trash and improve recycling.
