Housing sustainability takes move-out success to a national stage
A team from University Housing and the Office of Sustainability is part of a panel showcasing their efforts to improve waste diversion and student engagement during residence hall move-out. The Association for the Advancement of Sustainability in Higher Education annual conference runs through tomorrow in Baltimore, Maryland.

The UW Arboretum still has wild populations of the rusty-patched bumblebee, which is currently under consideration for endangered species status.

Regulators from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency are in Madison this week conducting a probe to determine whether the federal government should take the extreme step of revoking Wisconsin's authority for enforcing federal water pollution laws.
