Earth Week at UW–Madison
Badgers will be celebrating Earth Day with events throughout the week of April 18, culminating at the
annual Nelson Institute Earth Day Conference on April 25. Join members of our community for bike rides, nature walks, and more events devoted to appreciating our planet.

What's New at UW?

Union South turns five
Union South's fifth anniversary this week is a great time to celebrate the Union's sustainable features as well, from the LEED Gold certified building to a commitment to sustainable dining.
UW receives UN chair
UW–Madison was awarded an UNESCO chair on gender and well-being, the first for the university in any area. The network of chairs helps to connect efforts of women throughout the world.
