First UW–Madison offices achieve green certification
Five campus offices have achieved Green Office certification this spring through the Office of Sustainability's new program: the Nelson Institute for Environmental Studies Academic Programs Office, UHS Counseling Services, LGBT Campus Center, Facilities Planning & Management, and the Morgridge Center for Public Service.

Senior wins Bucky's Award in sustainability
Maria Castillo was selected for her extensive involvement on and beyond campus, her ability to engage fellow students in sustainability initiatives, and her entrepreneurial spirit.
2017-18 Wisconsin Idea Fellowships awarded
Seven student projects will address a range of community needs, including household energy solutions, mass incarceration, fresh produce access, sexual assault, and more.

North Central College invites applications for a three-year visiting position to develop curriculum to support a new major in environmental studies. Application deadline is April 14.
Groundskeeping supervisor – Platteville, WI
UW–Platteville is seeking a year-round grounds supervisor to maintain campus natural and built environments and manage crews. Application deadline is April 20.
