Apply for new Sustainability Certificate
The Nelson Institute for Environmental Studies is accepting applications from all class years for its new Sustainability Certificate, enrolling students for the first time this fall with support from the Office of Sustainability.
Save the date for Neil deGrasse Tyson
Famed astrophysicist and host of the television series Cosmos: A Spacetime Odyssey, Neil deGrasse Tyson, will speak at the ninth annual Nelson Institute Earth Day Conference April 20, 2015.

Wisconsin Clean Diesel Grant Program
The Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources is offering $125,000 under this grant program to reduce diesel emissions by replacing aging buses from both public and private school bus fleets across the state. Application deadline is September 19.
