Tarnanthi Art Fair 2020

Injalak Arts at Tarnanthi Art Fair 2020

We will be participating in the Tarnanthi Art Fair 2020, an important event that showcases works of art for sale from hundreds of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander artists across the continent. Paintings, carvings, weavings, jewellery, clothing, textiles and homewares are available for purchase, all at a new venue at Lot Fourteen in Adelaide’s CBD.

Stone Country TV

Media workshops and live streaming broadcast at Injalak Arts

Injalak Arts produced a live television broadcast in on 16 October, Stone Country TV came live and direct from Gunbalanya. 

Covid-19 meant that Stone Country festival couldn't happen this year so we went online to share culture and music from western Arnhem Land with a global audience. 
After 2 weeks of media workshops facilitated by Stu Kellway (Yothu Yindi), 5 bands performed live with the Injalak Media Unit filming and live switching the transmission.

Our talented artists make artworks year round in remote Arnhem Land in the Northern Territory inspired by their culture and local environment. All items offered for sale are made in Gunbalanya (Oenpelli) and the homelands. All arts and crafts sold through this store will include a Certificate of Authenticity. We are delighted to be able to share them with you as they become available and update stock regularly. Injalak Arts is owned by the artist members and all proceeds go to our Aborginal Corporation, a registered charity. Buying from us is sustaining our members and encourages them to continue making beautiful artworks!

Hand Screen Printed Textiles

Buy ethical fashion

All our fabrics are printed on site in our screen printing workshop by a dedicated team of local screen printers. The artist is paid a royalty of $5 for every metre of their design printed.

We have fabric lengths available in Cotton, Linen & Silk.
