New ADHD study on tolerance to medication seeks participants
Psychologists at FIU’s Center for Children and Families (CCF) are examining possible tolerance to ADHD medications and whether taking weekend breaks could help with effectiveness over time.
The research study will be conducted during CCF’s Summer Treatment Program. Participating children will receive behavioral treatment by psychologists who specialize in ADHD as well as a controlled test of medication. Participating children will also be followed the next school year by CCF clinical staff.
